"Do you have a poncho sitting in the back of your closet that you never wear? Sew the slit closed and turn it into a gorgeous DIY blanket with a giant embroidered sunflower on it!
Use a blunt yarn needle and bulky yarn and follow the stitch guide and tips for embroidering on a large scale on a thick fabric. If you don’t have a poncho, you can also simply embellish a plain throw blanket with these same techniques."
