I recently made this watermelon potholder for my mom and she thought it was so cute! She hung it from the kitchen cabinet and refuses to use it because she doesn't want to get it dirty. :)

I just love the colors used in this watermelon potholder. If you decided to have it be a wall hanging for decor purposes on,y, you could use black buttons for the seeds! Otherwise, fabric marker works fine and looks pretty realistic! These would look great for a backyard barbecue gathering, in a picnic basket for a park side grill, or even for a wedding shower gift! Fun and pretty project!
