I made a pot holder by quilting but it did not look right and now I see this one done with polka dots and I love it. I really like the way the blogger just went around the pot holder a few times to give it a different look. You can also use fabric you have on hand that is left over and make other side out of different fabric. This is a very good tutorial with pictures to go with it. So why not give your kitchen a change and make some pot holders they are so easy and fast and they also make quick house warming gifts.

So pretty and, because my ones were looking really old and sad, I had to admit that this was definitely a project for me. I found some fabric in my stash plus had some batting left over from a recent project so yesterday afternoon I got to it and in no time at all we had a lovely new set of pot holders. They were so easy to make that I have absolutely no idea why I did not make them sooner!
