Casserole totes are so much better to use to transport pot luck goodies than a cardboard box or other makeshift carry all. Sewing a casserole tote is so much better. Love the design of the quilted fabric in the tutorial however I had to read it carefully to be sure I understood all the steps. Worth the extra read!

Very hard to follow tutorial. I've seen easier tutorials with clearer pictures. Fabric was too busy, which makes it hard to view what's going on in the pictures. I don't think this tutorial is for a newbie.

I made 2 of these for Christmas gifts. I used fabric remnants and quilt batting from an old quilt. The 1/2" seam binding is hard to use so I used 7/8" on the entire piece. Ribbon was used for the ties.
