This is a cute bib for baby's first Christmas, I was not overly keen on the ragged edge and so opted to bind mine around the outside instead. The instructions are easy to follow but there is no printable pdf for the pattern pieces so I would suggest if you are not confident cutting without a template to make one using the shapes in word or hand draw on paper first. I also made a few other adjustments such as using matching thread colour rather than the white as shown in the photos on the tutorial and after making one with the ribbon as shown I changed this to have a longer neck piece and use velcro for ease of putting on and off baby. The applique would also look great on a baby grow or t-shirt for a first christmas.
