When I was going back to school I had the same messenger bag and I liked it. Turns out making one isn't that hard, I'd make mine in some strong fabric to withstand all the weight and make it last longer. I'd love to see the pattern on how the applique was done, it just makes it unique and stands out from a regular messenger bag.

The benefits of this tutorial is that it is straightforward and easy to print out without using lots of pages but I would of liked some photos to show the bag being made to help me as the plain black and white drawings do not make it clear where the lining and outer materials are. It was however fairly easy for me as I have made these types of bags before and liked the applique on those shown but was disappointed that there were no instructions or pattern for the applique so had to make my own.
