Lettuce Edge Hem Tutorial

From the Blogger: "Give your sewing projects a pretty finish with a lettuce hem! This curly hem looks cute and attractive and is practical too as it won’t make your project shorter. It's a great option when you’re short on fabric. While it’s popular on little girls clothes, you can also see this adorable hemline on women’s clothing too, particularly younger women, in items such as tops, cardigans, and even dresses. Making a lettuce hem is insanely easy, making it one of my most favorite ways to finish hemlines."

Oh yeah, I see why it's named the lettuce edge hem. Cool! I've never tried it but I've seen it on some shirts I like.

I am not a big fan of super flashy accouterment, but I don't like my clothing to be drab, either! This is the perfect compromise for a picky fashionista like me. This subtle feminine flounce gives an outfit the ideal balance of flair and structure.
