These adorable mittens are actually easy to make! You can make the Upcycled Embellished Mittens from a piece of clothing you no longer wear. They're great for kids. Creating handmade handwear allows you to save big bucks and do something good for the planet. As far as easy Christmas gifts to make are concerned, this project is a keeper. I just saw this pattern in time. I have a pair of sweat pants I was going to put in the clothing box. But now I will make some mittens. This pattern is even good for adults. It is freezing out there - I live in NYC - and it does not feel as if the gloves are doing the job. This will work up fast and they will be warm. Thank you!
