Now this is clever! I love the comment about using the oattern to cover up a mistake or stain on a shirt that needs a new life. My daughter is forever asking me to sew 'air' on her a,ready well worn and still loved tops. This idea is an inspiration, because I can use this technique to give some of her worn out tops new life, since she insists on keeping them ... You could even take this a bit further and add titles or ribbon embellishments! Super!
