What a sweet idea! You can't save every single piece of artwork and even if you did, how can you display it all. This project allows the memories to be saved forever and really hold up well. You could bring this quilt out each year, and either hang it for a holiday wall hanging, or drape on the back of the sofa to proudly display it....I could see doing this with many types of art and translating the art into a quilt makes it even more practical and useful too! Great idea!
