Chunk the Sloth
Wow! This was one of our most popular naming competitions ever. A lot of our readers had some adorable and just plain silly ideas when it came to naming the sloth. The editors had such a hard time picking that they left it up to the whole office! We had a voting contest and without further ado this sloth's name is Chunk! Our reader Bridget H picked the name in honor of the Goonies and it turns out our staff loves that film! Thank you everyone who left a comment and please enjoy this stuffed animal pattern.

Sloth's Picnic! Clearly that's a napkin he's holding! All he needs is someone to sew him some fruit or ants or whatever sloths eat!

I would call him Brady if three-toed, and Cloe, if two-toed.(For their genus Bradypus and Choloepus.

How about Slowpoke Sloth. He/she looks kind of poke-able to me.

My little granddaughter loves baby sloths. She carried a picture of one around with her for a week, so in her honor I think she should be named Rozie.

Awwwww, so cute! My little Shih Tzu (Gracie) and I vote for putting a matching pink bow on this adorable critter and naming her... Slothy Susan!

A sloth is a nocturnal animal. Her name should be Laila, meaning nocturnal, sweetheart and dark haired beauty.

I feel like his name is either Howard or George. It could go either way, it's a very close call. Maybe Howard George Sloth?
