Very cute racoon softie. Sewing childrens soft toys is a favorite of mine. Scraps of fleece and some stuffing material have transformed into an adorable toy. The bright red heart is a nice embellishment. I would definitely embroider the eyes as even plastic safety eyes can be a concern for very young children.

Thank you, Cheryl! I completely agree with you on the eyes. I recommend embroidered eyes for toys in the tutorial since they are safe for children.

I agree with you too Cheryl E that the eyes should be emrodered for small children and I do like the way the blogger showed how to do them in eairler video or just do plain embrodery. Got to add this one with the others. She does some great videos. I love the cute masked eyes too and she includes the pattern for all of them. Have you made one yet.
