Definitely a cute bright sunflower pillow. The instructions and photos reveal how surprisingly easy it is to make one. I like the blue and white plaid pillow cover as a background for the sunflower petals however I imagine any pillow cover will work well, even plain muslin. Must make two!

What a fun and cheery pillow! I could see doing these in the colors of your choice, or even using up fabric from your stash or even bits of your drapery or spread fabric if you have enough available to coordinate with your room. Further embellish the petals with some contrasting fabric or ribbon trim. This would make a nice housewarming gift too!
