I have not seen a cuter pillow in ages! As someone who loves to play around with color and dimension, I think it would be interesting to use up my fabric scraps by customizing each petal, and perhaps fading from light to dark to make a sleek ombre effect.

I have seen these flower pillows in a department store and then looked at the price tag. YIKES! I knew I could make one if I had the directions. I could not figure out how to make the flower and with this video and tutorial I see how easy it really is and you will too. These are great for putting on the bed on sofa or making for gifts. I think I will try and use fabric tape to close the petals and inner circles to take away some of the sewing that is shown. Great for any level of sewers and a great tutorial.

What a great idea! These decorative pillows are sooo expensive to buy at the store, so this is the perfect alternative.

OH I just love this creative flower pillow! It is so pretty and the photo reminds me of that shabby chic look with the fabric and style used! For another option, you could insert some wired ribbon on the edges of the petals to curl them a bit for more dimension! Super project, thank you for the instructions!
