These fabric ice skates would look charming hanging on a Christmas tree. I would make them out of white felt and trim with red ribbon for laces. The hand-drawn pattern offered could be reduced in size to make the skates as smaller ornaments, then an opened paper clip could be used as an alternative for the skate blade if no silvery pipe cleaner is available. Any other ideas to fashion a skate blade for this ornament?
