Where does one get felt this thick? These Ogee Ornament is such a cool look and I would love to make some for tree ornaments in different colors or would look great hanging as garland on stairs or even haning from a ceiling for home or office. How about using it to decorate for a Christmas wedding or your Christmas party. They can also be used for a winter theme birthday party. These can be used for many things. A nice tutorial and super project.

Great pattern! I also think you can use this beyond Christmas. The comments below have given me other ideas as well.

These are such pretty ornaments and not difficult at all to make. I did not have any of the thicker felt on hand, but fused two thinner pieces together and made one. It came out just fine, but was a little more work. Is there a good source for the thicker wool felt that someone could share? Many thanks.

This is delightful. I first thought that it would be complicated to make however it is really easy to do. The results are elegant and enchanting. I am making the ornament out of white or some red thick felt on hand and adding a sparkling or wood bead or two. Great holiday decoration!

These were a snap to make with a glue gun. They look beautiful, and are a great way to use scrap felt! Thank you. *_*

I had stopped bothering with holiday decorations -- but this is so simple and lovely, I have to make it. Good clear instructions, too.
