My nephew has just had a son (who is the most gorgeous thing on the entire planet!) so I had to look around for a baby girl to make this simply beautiful little dress for. Don't you just LOVE IT? I have looked at the pattern, which seems easy enough to understand, so I am all set to go!

This is so cute. My first grandbaby, a girl, was born on Aug. 10, so this will come in handy. I've already sewn a onesie for her and a blanket. Because we live in Florida, this little dress will work nicely. Thank you for sharing. I will post a photo, when I get this made and my Grand-daughter is wearing it.

Recently made this little dress for my newborn DGD, who is only 6 lbs. It's still a little big (Newborn size), but by summer she'll grow into it. I made matching panties from another pattern, and instead of the piping at the hem, used the same color rick rack. Please see image above. Great pattern - thanks so much for sharing.

Hi , can anyone tell me what kind of fabric would be best to use. The original pattern I guess uses two pieces of fabric put together. I initially was using cotton, but now I'm not sure if thats best.

i guess i don't get it- these are FREE patterns that we can use for FREE and do with what we want for FREE or when our kig out grows them we can't include them in our garage sales or consignment shops without asking first- now tell me this designer even designed it without EVER looking in a magazine or catalog- sure. Now i won't ever use this pattern or so called designer or should i ask that designer before i unsiscribe to this website

mdg, I dont know this designer but I would just like to point out that there is such a thing as pattern making. I actually make patterns and for baby clothes I find the best way is to look at baby onesies. Once you get the hand of pattern making it is very easy to do. Please do not jump to conclusions.

I clicked on the link to get the pattern only to be confronted by warnings to not copy this pattern for anything other than personal use That was followed by the designer talking about some dreadful thing that happened at another site about toys being returned with no further explanation as to what the writer was talking about Links led to nothing Regarding the use of this pattern over the years I have seen dozens of variations of patterns that look just like this in commerical patterns so I am puzzled as to why this designer would be so protective of a pattern that is so similar to those in commerical pattern books Matter of fact I have a picture of my year old daughter wearing a dress just like this different color With that said I have downloaded it for reference purpose only or maybe make one for a granddaughter…Read More I don't sell patterns or clothing
