Simple Baby Gown Pattern
From the Blogger: "This baby gown works perfectly with knits to create a knotted baby gown or with thicker cottons and flannels to use with an elastic tie (included in pattern instructions). There's also a free tutorial on how to make a matching elastic headband! This pattern uses a baby onesie, just a little bit of fabric, and elastic (optional). It makes a great gift for visiting mom and baby in the hospital or for a baby shower."

Great idea to dress up a plain baby onsie and personalize it by turning it into a nightgown with some pretty flannel and matching headband. I prefer to sew elastic to the bottom of the gown rather than tie a knot for a neater look. Nice baby shower gift idea too.
