From Stripes to Chevron
Make your own chevron pattern using striped fabric with this basic sewing tutorial. You may be familiar with this if you're a quilter, but turning fabric from stripes to chevron is useful in all sewing projects.
It's a fairly simple project but the chevron pattern does require precision, which can make it a little more difficult for ultimate beginners. But, if you take your time and pin often, you'll have a pretty DIY chevron pillow in no time.
