But what about those sewists who come looking for a very specific pattern on our site? It can be hard to wade through all of that information for that one perfect pattern. Lucky for you, our site is specifically designed to help you find the patterns you want. We have several functions that make locating the free sewing pattern for you easy as pie. No matter what you are looking for, we probably have it. All you need to do is locate that pattern and with these 5 ways you’ll be locating your next free sewing project in no time.
5 Ways to Find Free Sewing Patterns on AllFreeSewing.com
1. Use our search function.
At the top of each page, there is a search bar. If you know exactly what you want or have some general idea, this function is perfect. All you need to do is type in what you are looking for and hit the search key. Plus, if you have a general idea, our site usually has suggestions!
2. Check our categories.
If you are looking for a specific holiday or type of pattern, we probably have a category FULL of those projects. Our categories are listed down the left side of our site. All categories have sub-categories, so once you click on the category you will be given multiple options. Our Christmas Sewing category for example includes “Christmas Gifts”, “Christmas Home Décor”, etc!
3. Check our tag cloud.
In addition to categories, we tag each and every one of our projects and patterns with labels. So, a bag might be in the Bags and Purses category, but it is also labeled as “easy” and as a “tote bags”. You can find the tag cloud here.
