I have some commercial spray starch, but Im reluctant to use it as I have birds and I really dont like using sprays of any kind around them. So this really peaked my interest. However Cornstarch is not a readily available item in Australia, so would it be suitable to use Cornflour, which I understand is actually made from wheat?

This is the best tip I have seen regarding rolled edges on knits. I never thought to use spray starch on knits...I thought the curled edges were just something I had to live with, which means I do not sew with a lot of knits...but now I think that is going to change.
