I recently made something similar to this for myself and it really has transformed my sewing experience. I was forever scratching under bits and pieces of fabric and patterns and papers looking for my scissors or the pins or whatever. Now I know that if I put the scissors in the pocket of the mat that is where I'll find them. So simple!
