Adding Bling with Fabric Stencils, Sew-On Jewels, and Sequins

From the Blogger: "I set about to liven up the Easy Princess Dress and in the process, I wanted to demonstrate a few fun techniques. I'm using a snowflake motif and fake jewels to bling up this particular dress, but you can use these same techniques to liven up any garment. For durability purposes, I recommend adding a small amount of glue and sewing the jewels to the skirt. Please note that this costume is not suitable for girls under 3 years old."

Love anything with bling! If for some reason you cannot sew on the bling, or prefer not to, there are wonderful and reasonably priced adhesives which are great for adding embellishments such as rhinestones or buttons that are a bit bulkier, the tacky type of glue, that are labeled that they dry clear and hold up during washing, if your fabric can be washed. Love the instructions, thank you!

This princess dress is so adorable, yes, thanks to the bling-bling things added onto it. Agree with the author, plain satin is flat and could be boring. Now the dress looks magical. Any little girl will be so happy to wear one. And I think Id like to wear one too! D
