"We moved houses a couple of months ago and have been getting into the new routine of the house. One of the things we have still been working out is where to put the cat food where it won’t get kicked or knocked over. The kitchen seems to be working out but sometimes their bowls slide when they are eating, so I thought that making a pet food mat would be the perfect answer! And the kids loved it."

I know exactly the right cat to make one of these for. Koshka's big, ginger, very fluffy and with the softest hair ever. He also spends a lot of time pretending he's not interested in people but he's also careful not to miss out on anything that's going on. I'll have to find him a really manly print so as not to upset him, haha!

This Cat food mat is so cute and so easy to make and a great idea to keep the floor area clean. Add an embroidered name or even a saying to make it even more special. Use some cute fabric or even some laminated fabric so you can just wipe clean. Great gift for a cat lover too. Tere is a downloadable pattern too. Thanks.
