This is much cuter little girl dress and doesn't look like grandma's cut down to fit. I like!

These are great...I love making things with materials I already have. Has anyone come up with an idea of how to use tops of sox? The feet wear out much quicker, but I just can't throw them away. HELP!

long sock ribbing can be cut off and used for cuffs on a wide variety of clothes. One of my favs is using the ribbing from colored athletic socks as a sewn-in wristband inside my coat sleeves(it blocks the wind from blowing up my arm) U could also use the sock ribbing as fingerless gloves/wrist warmers after finishing the top and bottom edges with a round of crocheted shells or other decorative edging. or layer 2-3 ribbings and use them to make potholders with. Let ur imagination soar, and have fun doin' it.

Really handy now that I have 3 granddaughters! thanks!!!!! :) love it!
