Does your girl love mermaids then why not make her a mermaid skirt using this tutorial and if you do not want to make it long it tells how to make it in different sizes. I love how the glitter fabric on the bottom gives it a special touch. This tutorial makes it easy to make and even a beginner can make this. If you want to make the ruffles easier then use the glitter tulle on the rolls.

This mermaid skirt is adorable. No need to shy away from the intermediate sewing designation. The skirt is simple to make. Love the sparkly ruffles in place of the usual mermaid tail-shape. The ruffles work to give the same idea. Great for little girls to play dress-up. Tutorial even explains how to make the skirt in a variety of sizes. Great idea.
