Skirt to Scarf Refashion
"A very basic refashion on how to transform a pleated skirt into a beautiful scarf. To make the scarf, buy a thrifted skirt or use one of your own. Using a sewing machine is optional, because a thread and a needle is all you need. So take a half hour of your time to refashion one of those skirts you don't wear anymore. Be creative and make something for yourself or your loved ones."

Surely this is the easiest skirt to scarf refashion ever. Real wool plaid skirts - Scottish or Irish plaids have an amazing long history - whether pleated or gathered are a treasure to use for upcycling. A childs size skirt would well to make this charming scarf giving new use to a continuing favorite fabric.
