To move this from a beginner project to an advanced project I would add a flower of the same fabrics to the lower hip region then machine free quilt lines in different colors all over the petals and the shirt.

I would add petals around the sleeve bottoms and also around the waistband of the tee, also.

I would use chiffon and other sheer and light fabrics of the same color to make it more adult-looking and feminine.
