Great idea! Using a denim shirt to upcycle is out effective and a clever way to keep things under budget. I could also see using other shirts in the same way to further extend the budget or even to resize an outfit for yourself or daughter, etc. check out thrift stores for clothing items that would lend themselves to this transformation....great and practical idea!
