Moda Fabrics has been in the quilting and fabric industry since 1975 and are constantly coming out with new and amazing fabrics for all the sewing enthusiasts out there. There are independent designers and in-house designers that bring the trendiest lines of fabric and this year I'm so excited to re-introduce you to the Collection for a Cause Fabric Collection.
Collection for a Cause just had its 10-year anniversary back in August 2018. This collection was created by the founder of Moda Fabrics as an ongoing series to help benefit and support charities and causes that hit close to home for the founder and his team. The first collection called Heritage, was in memory of a Moda sales rep who succumbed to cancer and the proceeds of Heritage benefited a support community for people with cancer. Now this collection has made its way back.
The fabrics within the collection are inspired by antique quilts dating back to the 1700s and feature designs of florals, berries, paisley and other historical details. The details are sophisticated and show amazing beauty that once was during the 19th century. Made of 100% cotton, this fabric without a doubt will be created into a fabulous heirloom quilt that will be remembered for many years to come.
