I love this idea! I used to own a pressing ham, but it was too big to use on most of the projects I made. I never thought of a pressing sausage, or even making one! I need to make this! Where do I find the sawdust type filler? Would that work better than the fabric scraps also suggested? I would think the surface would be smoother with the sawdust filler, and too lumpy even if it was stuffed solid. Anyone make this? Thanks for the great project!
