I am a pushover for pretty pincushions and this one is lovely. The little layered flowers are just so pretty. This pincushion would make for a great gift for a sewer. The directions and photos provided show it would be easy to duplicate. I would try and find antique buttons for embellishment.

I have never seen a prettier pin cushion! It would look nice just sitting out as decor alone...how nice that it does double duty! A great way to use some felt or left over fabric and enhance with buttons or bows! What little girl would love this when she begins to learn to sew, under supervision of course! Thanks for sharing a practical and pretty project!
