. Im doing a course at the moment which teaches pressing techniques in sewing and this Ham is one of the recommended tools. So its a very timely pattern to come across. Thank you to the ladies who have commented previously, with one suggesting the use of Fibre fill for the stuffing. I would have probably gone with this option myself as I have plenty of that from Crochet Toy Making. But the second comment asked how the fibre fill would handle the steam from an iron and that is a very good point.

It could also be stuffed very firmly with fiberfill. Smaller semi-pointed ones help you get closer to corners in pillows, etc. they work great!

Thanks for your suggestion, Marypktn. But how does fiberfill manage hot steam? I know that sawdust adsorb the moisty hot air exceeding, but I think fiberfill would not...
