Sewing pincushions is one of my favorites. The colorful pouf to safeguard pins has a remarkable history. These are made from red or green felt with a brown felt stem and are just so charming. The free printable pattern was easy to follow and the little apple pincushion sewed up easily.

How cute and sweet these Apple Pin Cushions are. I think these are great beginner projects for teens and new sewers. I would also suggest making these as Teacher's gifts, and items to sell at craft fairs! Just change up the colors, and you could make a cornucopia of fruits! I look forward to sharing this project with friends.
