Oh this is so cute - I can just see one in each of our two youngest kids rooms! I have already selected the fabrics for our son but our daughter is a fussy one and is very particular about what goes into her room so she'll select her own fabrics, lol.

Fabric laundry basket tutorial is a great. I plan to attempt to sew one, in hopes that it will look like the finished project. I would use disposable garbage bag to line it when used to keep it free of odors, then wash n' dry.

I agree this is a great tutorial and I like that you can pick out your own fabric. Did you make one yet? I hope mine turns out like this. I agree it needs to be lined with something to keep it from getting damp. I am going to try a third layer out of the clear vinyl that way all it needs to do is be wiped down to keep it clean.
