I did not know Ikea sold fabric! I will have to check out what they have. I like the good old rod pocket panels too. They are so much easier to make. I have made so many of these curtain and they really are so easy. The hardest part is finding somewhere to cut that long of fabric. There is nothing more rewarding then making your own curtains because you can choose your fabric and if you want you can add grommets in them too by changing the way you finish the top. Great tutorial.

Actually I need to make some curtains and this tutorial is so easy. I have to admit Im a fan of the old fashioned rod- pocket curtains. While the sliding curtain tracks are so much more convenient for opening and closing the curtains, I seem to be forever hunting for clips that have popped off the tracks. Weve just had a big new Ikea store open up not far from here, so I will have to check if they stock fabric at a reasonable price.
