"I love hexagons they are such a wonderful shape and very common in nature from beehives to the world-famous Giants Causeway in Northern Ireland. I decided to use the hexagon as the inspiration for my upcycled denim placemats. Did you know that you can make a hexagon shape from six equilateral triangles? That is what I used for these denim patchwork placemats. I made them a hexagon shape by joining six denim triangles all in different shades of indigo."
