Autumn Kitchen Window Valance
"Dress up your kitchen window for the autumn season with a new valance. This very fast beginner project takes about one hour start to finish, and is so easy you could make them for all the seasons! Just a length of fabric and a bit of thread, a few quick seams, and your kitchen is dressed up for the holidays. Just put the valance on a tension rod inside the window casing and you are all set."

An easy project that really packs some punch in your home decor. This is a great way to change out your look. I have made several,of these, and cafe curtains to match for some of Windows. I also have added beaded trim to the bottom for some accents and the beads reflect the light! Using a spring tension rod means no holes in the wall or nails! And you can even extend them depending on the fullness of your project.

Love this easy to sew rod-pocket window valance. Kitchen windows over the sink can get overlooked and whatever valance may or may not be over the window can usually benefit from a seasonal change. The tutorial is easy to follow with great pictures for guidance. Wonderful easy simple sewing project.
