Vintage Stuffed Bunny Pattern
Your child can never have too many stuffed friends, which means there’s always room for a Vintage Stuffed Bunny Pattern in the collection. Free stuffed animal patterns like this are also great for toy drives because they’re so easy to make. Bunnies are always a safe animal to create because they’re so cute and lovable. Sewing stuffed animals is extra fun when the pattern looks like it was pulled right from a history book. The simplicity of this bunny certainly carries a vintage quality that you will appreciate just as much as your child.

This sleepy bunny is perfect for a quick-to-sew project for Easter. The basic pattern can easily be transformed into a bear or puppy by making the ears different. This is a great scrap fabric project. I especially like that the facial features are felt and simple hand embroidery. Safe for very young kids.

The overall shape of this bunny's body does indeed look like many of the antique stuffed animals of yesteryear that were handmade and sewn from precious fabric scraps on hand. The face of this bunny is adorable, but my sense of correct placement, especially for an educational nod to the little recipient, would place the stitching for the whiskers on this bunny coming off the white muzzle area below the nose, since that is where they are located on an animal. Of course whimsy in design is important too...just my take on it! Thanks for sharing!
