I actually have made a miniature mock-up so I could figure out how the design worked so I could try to figure what all the fuss was from some of the comments listed on the designer's website CottonsandCurls com It is an easy design once you understand the basic idea where she's going with it The folks commenting below on THIS page didn't seem to have a problem with the instructions Since I have made several ponchos shawl-type garments using a similar design I was able to figure it out fairly quickly I had to enlarge the pictures in order to read the simple instructions printed thereon I had seen complaints about people not being able to read the printing since it came out so small It enlarged quite nicely for me when I clicked on each picture although for some reason my browser couldn't figure out how to go back…Read More to the original post I ended up with several pages with different sections enlarged on each page might be operator error whistling looking at ceiling I was going to add my own instructions to help those who were having difficulty with the designer's instructions but as I said from looking below I see that is not necessary I am going to make the dress to fit me now having made the mock-up knowing now how to get it all together I can't call it a muslin because I made it out of some scraps of knit fabric I had left over from another project but essentially I think that's what it is except it's not to scale so I couldn't try it on

Hmmm I see this comment bot doesn't necessarily recognize ampersands or general punctuation unless it just feels like it. Rest assured I am better at writing than it looks as I was raised by an English teacher and she learnt me real good. Lol!

Pretty Grecian style summer dress. No pattern per se to follow, but the pictures and simple instructions should be enough to recreate this attractive dress. Lots of gathering at the neckline and sleeves and a belt to tie it all in at the waist is what gives the dress its many graceful folds. I do like it.

I love this super cute Grecian sundress . I am going to try this for sure but may need to go over tutorial a few more times because can not really figure out the sleeve but I am sure it will come to me when I get to that part. I love that you used a soft knit. If I do not finish the hem you said knit does not fray too much. Does it fray at all? And where do you buy your knit? Every where I look at knit you can see right through it and have to wear something underneath it and than it makes dress hot. Thanks for the tutorial.

It's a lovely dress, but I wouldn't call it "Grecian"-Grecian style is all about draping, and this is gathered at the top, with no drapery whatsoever.
