Never attempted a maxi dress in along time. I have not done any shirring by machine with elastic because first time I tried it did not turn out well and I keep breaking my needles. I love that this tutorial has links on how to sew in an elastic band link and shirring for beginners link to want me to try and make one now. I love the bright color fabric that was used to make this dress and makes you want to go find some fun fabric too. I will try one when weather gets warm again or after the holidays. Such a good tutorial. Anyone have any thoughts about this pretty beach maxi dress?
