Its great idea. I love this pattern. Thank you!

I am so glad to have found this designer again, thanks to you all for featuring her designs. This was one of my favorite patterns from her. I love the simple design and the way the center is designed. It would be a great beach dress, but it is so cute and stylish I would wear it everywhere in the summer.

This pattern is similar to another that Ive made several times, except I think this design would be even simpler because of the central seams and would actually hang better on the body. For a beginner, I would suggest reading carefully through the tutorial and the comments, then doing some calculations based on your actual measurements. The writer of the tutorial has just provided the size she would make for herself but there are a few hints as to resizing applied in the comments.

This 20 minute cover up is something my grown daughter would love. I have got to make her one. Lets see if I can do it in 20 minutes. I like that you can wear it as a dress too. I think I will make it a little longer though if going to use as a dress. Do I need to make out of knit if not sure of size or do you just add more or take away inches?
