Adding a soft print to the edge of a plain tea towel-like cloth is a great way to add flair to any plain kitchen or hand towel. Very easy to do in no time at all. Several stacked together and tied with ribbon would make for a nice housewarming gift.

These are lovely...I have fabric I bought in France and have been wanting to make something extra special. I am going to use these as finger towels in the guest bath as they will not get as much use amd should last longer. They will make beautiful hostess gifts as well...
