For me, these little beauties a like the ones I grew up with so am I telling my age. Retro designs really take me back to my childhood and seeing these makes me think about helping my parents out in the kitchen. Believe it or not, my Dad did more of the cooking than my Mom and he was always teaching me new things. Thanks for the trip down memory lane.

These retro Christmas dishcloths look like I just opened up my Grandma's linen closet. They are so cute. I love the retro design and I have several items already that I decorate retro during the holiday. Now I have something new to add to my "old" collection.

Retro anything will always catch me eye and these dishcloths, charmingly merry and bright, certainly did. Decorative accents to the kitchen are always welcome as gift ideas. To save time, I would make these using only one ruffle on the bottom edge. They would look just as charming draped over the stove handle or hung on a kitchen towel rung.

I agree that plain towels are the best for doing the actual drying. But, I like to hang decorative towels on my oven door handle and on a hook away from the sink. I also look for new gift ideas for relatives that appreciate retro style.

Cute. I'd make them for display and/or gift giving, but when it comes to using a dishtowel, I am under the old school, nothign works better than a plain towel without the cute stuff. I most likely will make some for gifts this year, though! Very cute!
