What fabric do you recommend? Would this be best suited for fabric that stretches?

Just scroll down and the pattern is there. Its quite easy, simply using a pair of your own well fitting pants to make a paper pattern, with clear instructions and photos to guide you. If youve never made your own patterns before, I would suggest first making up a pair of pants from an old sheet, or some calico. This way you can make sure the fit is correct before you cut your material. You Tube has many videos on adjusting fit if needed.
