How to Adjust Presser Foot Tension Tutorial
From the Blogger: "Every type of fabric needs a different tension of the presser foot. Here, you’ll learn how to change the presser foot tension on a sewing machine according to your own project! The presser foot tension simply presses on the fabric, so the sewing machine’s feed dogs can nicely pull the fabric through. If the presser foot tension is set correctly, your stitches are the same length and the fabric slides through easily. And in this short tutorial, you’ll learn how to change the presser foot tension on a sewing machine."

13. As the previous commenter pointed out, little tips like this are invaluable to novice sewists. It can be so disheartening when you are just starting out to come across issues and not have a clue how to fix them. Im very blessed to have a good friend who is always ready to answer my sewing questions. But this site is certainly a good friend in that it is full of useful little hints like this to make life so much easier.

I love helpful posts like this. I'm a newbie sewer and taking care of my machine hasn't really been on my mind much since I'm too busy worrying about sewing straight lines. I might do better if I knew how to make adjustments like this, though. In fact, tension probably has been the culprit of many of my problems sewing! lol. Keep sharing informative posts like this one, please. It is so helpful!
