Sewing Kit or Jewelry Bag Tutorial
"This is a tutorial for a great little jewelry case or sewing kit, or something to make in multiples for holiday gifts. It is easy enough for a beginner, makes up quickly, and can be filled with all kinds of goodies like sewing items for a wonderful sewing kit. For travel to classes, or just to keep on hand, a kit with the basics we use all the time will be appreciated. Needles, pretty scissors, and thread are always welcome to a quilter or sewist. This project can also be used as a travel jewelry case."

This very portable sewing kit is really charming requiring only yard of fabric and yard of lining. Great gift idea too especially if sewing notions are added. The instructions indicate that buttonholes are needed in the casing, a bit challenging but necessary to complete the project. Pretty sewing kit (or jewelry bag) idea.

This is such a clever sewing project and I love the fabric used in the picture! This would make a cute little purse... Dress up for a lady, or make it simple for that special little girl for her treasures! You could embellish with some buttons or sequins or add some satin fabric shirring as ribbon for another option! So cute.... Practical as well as pretty! Would make such a super gift!

This bag iis so adoreable that I would make it as a gift holding gifts for my granddaughters, special friends and family.
