This very portable sewing kit is really charming requiring only yard of fabric and yard of lining. Great gift idea too especially if sewing notions are added. The instructions indicate that buttonholes are needed in the casing, a bit challenging but necessary to complete the project. Pretty sewing kit (or jewelry bag) idea.

This is such a clever sewing project and I love the fabric used in the picture! This would make a cute little purse... Dress up for a lady, or make it simple for that special little girl for her treasures! You could embellish with some buttons or sequins or add some satin fabric shirring as ribbon for another option! So cute.... Practical as well as pretty! Would make such a super gift!
