Awesome project! And the tutorial is great... helpful pictures, easy instructions. PUL is not something I'd use in food storage but loved that there were other suggestions. And found a new blog to add to my favorites... love it :)

Geraldine - PUL is a waterproof fabric used for making cloth diapers. It isn't food safe, so certainly not necessary for this project. You can just use quilting cotton, or if you want waterproof bags try oil cloth or vinyl.
