I positively love the simplicity and elegance of a color block print! I know you're technically not supposed to mix black and brown, but I made this clutch with all neutral colors--tan, black, and chocolate--and now I never have to worry about accessorizing based on color again. Can't imagine my life without this bag!

I have never attempted to make any bag with a colorblock pattern but I really think this is so super cool. I am so going to try this out on this clutch and then on a bag. A lot of girls today hate carrying purses so they carry just wallets because the purses they think are too big. What about a clutch then. I think I will make one and see if my daughter will carry one of these. I have worked with leather before and it is not that bad. I like the leather because you can just wipe it off. This is a great little clutch that you can make for a prom,wedding or a formal event. If you do not like it plain then add some rhinestones or studs. Very easy to follow tutorial.
