I made these this past Christmas as presents for female family members. Very easy to make and they came out great. Everybody loved them!!!

This bag is so slick! I have made a similar bag from oil cloth on a bigger scale, three feet wide, to carry instructional materials from school to school, and I had a similar type of strap...that was over 30 years ago and it still functions great! These are very sturdy! I added a flap that closes over the top which is another option design. Super! Thanks for sharing!

My city has a plastic bag tax, so I have definitely gotten into the habit of bringing my own bags to the grocery store. However, all this use has my bags looking pretty ratty, so I think I need to try this pattern to freshen up my grocery bag stash.

Very, very cute! I love it. There is so much that can be done with this pattern especially in colorways. Straightforward and clear instructions. I cannot wait to try. I have so many color schemes I want to do!
